Ability to add tags into UDT instances

It would be super useful to be able to add tags into UDT instances so that these are part of only that instance.
An example where I could use this now is: I would like to have a UDT for PLC sequences that contains a number of folders to serve as a folder structure, as well as some standard sequence control tags (start/stop/etc.). Not all sequences have the same parameters and alarms, so being able to add tags into each UDT instances' folders would be great in this instance. At the moment, I am manually copying and pasting a normal tag folder structure, which include a common controls UDT, from an existing sequence and modifying to suit.
In screenshot, see example of such sequence tags, where both of the sequences SQ01 and SQ2 have different Engineering Parameters. Currently this is not possible to do in a UDT, despite the folder structures of all sequences being the same.

Yeah this is actually pretty surprising to me that we can't do this. I'd prefer not to make 50 UDTs with just a one off additional tag

Can a UDT definition Inherent from another UDT definition currently?

Ben Newman: yes, however creating 50 udts, one for each sequence, isn't very practical. I do use inheritance in UDTs though elsewhere

An example I have: About a hundred motors, all of which have one motion switch, except for the one that has two.
