After much internal discussion, we've (sadly) decided to not implement this idea.

It's a fantastic idea that sparked much debate in office, but the amount of effort involved in this suggestion is massive, compared to the net benefit it would provide. It's a well loved idea, and something we would like to revisit one day, but we're going to have to close it.
