If this feature request was simply asking for a customizable designer theme or a dark theme, I would vote for it, but there seems to be something off about the way this is worded. Last I checked, the designer didn't have any kind of theme, let alone a dark one. Have you seen the dark mode patch in the Ignition Exchange? It doesn't use hard coded colors, but rather variables that are all defined in one place. I imagine they could be changed in any number of ways to customize the theme.
