Designer Project tree should maintain expansion state

I'm not sure what triggers the collapsing, but I'm constantly having to re-expand folders/views after switching over to edit something else, and it's a major time waster.

More even, I'd put a double tabs bar (two bars together), one for scripts and one for views, so that you don't have to use the "Project Browser" panel to switch between them. (Example image attached).

I said "same tab pane" as perspective views and got the response that it may not be possible because it's a separate module, but your idea of stacking two separate tab lists might be...?
