Edge is marketed as an Edge computing solution. I think there is a business case to develop a PLC module for the edge platform for small IO projects. Just looking to add a few analog signal and turn on and off a few items. I could do this with scripting but it would be hard to implement. Maybe its an extension of the function charts that are built in the full server version.
