Omron FINS support was implemented in Ignition 8.0.8.

I really, really want to use an Ignition driver instead of a 3rd party OPC for Omron CJ connections.

It would simplify configuration, licensing and debugging problems. I'd rather and send licensing/maintenance $$ to Inductive Automation instead of someone else. We're moving into 35 plants in Asia that are 75% Omron CJ series.

So is it possible to use 7.9 and the OMRON driver with the CJ series PLCs?

Any update on this one? Not that I'm whining... well, not much...

This would be great to be able to connect to both Omron CJ series and NJ series controllers.

Currently we have no other choice but to use a third party OPC driver.
