First-class keyboard shortcuts for the Perspective property editor could save a lot of people a lot of time, especially integrators that are creating many Views from scratch.
Would be great to have:
  • "Tab" from a value's name should move to editing the value, not a loss of mouse focus
  • Swap back and forth between editing a value's value and a value's name
  • Jump "up/down" 1 level in an object/array tree
  • Create new value/object/array. This could be 1 shortcut with a context menu or 3 different shortcuts.
  • Change to value/object/array. This could be 1 shortcut with a context menu or 3 different shortcuts.
  • Trigger dropdown menu (for properties with preconfigured dropdown values)
  • Open binding dialog for selected property
  • Open "change script" for selected property
Adding these alone would probably shave 15%+ off of my development time of a new View.
