Currently in the Time Series chart clicking on a line will (by default) dim the other lines to give the selected line a “highlighted” view. My customers are looking for a couple of other types of actions, some of which they are currently getting from other software.

They want to be able to select two points on the XY and Time Series charts to be able to see the data between those points or to collect the data between those points in time (via .csv or in a report).

When tracing values (which they want to be able to do on the XY Chart) on the Time Series Chart, there is a trace showing the values at that point in time of everything on the chart on the X-axis. They want to have some form of color coding, where there would be a larger dot on top of the line on the chart and then have us be able to edit the color of the descriptions in the box (showing current values at the time) to match that of the line they are associated with to more easily differentiate between them. They don’t want to have to look at the name, find it on the legend, then go back to the lines to see which one it is. Also, the legend pretty much always clips on open.
