Support for OCPP communication

STM has the intention to choose a commercial CSMS (Central System Management Software) system instead of a CSMS system built with Ignition. The primary reason for this decision is the lack of OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) support in Ignition.
As you may know, STM is a leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. We have been using Ignition as our primary SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system for several years now, and we have been very satisfied with its capabilities and flexibility.
However, as we have continued to expand our EV charging infrastructure, we have found that the lack of OCPP support in Ignition has become a significant limitation. OCPP is a widely adopted protocol for communication between charging stations and central management systems, and it is critical for our operations.
While we understand that Ignition is a powerful and versatile platform, the lack of OCPP support is a dealbreaker for us. As a result, we tend to invest in a commercial CSMS system that supports OCPP.
We appreciate the efforts that you have made to develop Ignition and make it a leading SCADA platform, and we hope that you will consider adding support for OCPP in the future. We believe that this would make Ignition an even more valuable tool for organizations like ours that are working to build a more sustainable future.
